In 2024, this select working group was collectively founded by scholars from a range of ranks and institutional affiliations. Its purpose is to advance scholarship on the social and political impacts of technology and medical knowledge on the lives of Latin Americas during the interwar, Cold War, and neoliberal eras. The group meets monthly and requires members to produce new writing as a condition of membership.
